As we walk closer toward Thanksgiving week I continue to practice gratitude for the amazing group that I get to do life with at MB. We had a full week last week of activities, groups, connection and sharing—Which was life to my soul and enabled me to really use my gifts and exercise my superpower of Compeller-Compelling others to see the unseen within them and around them-revealing more of their full potential. It seems like looking at strengths/superpowers and defining things was the theme last week in so many of my activities.
In our weekly coaching call with our coach, Chad Sanschagrin, we revisited naming our superpower. What is your superpower? that thing that you do that is inherent in how you were created—That thing that is your special signature touch on a group, a department or a company. I would love for you all to revisit yours or if that is new to you what is yours? Spend some time wrestling with that. If you struggle to define it ask those around you often what they see. It is such an uplifting experience to hone down your special strength.
Along the same theme last week I learned Pat Lencioni has a new assessment tool to measure-guess what? your specific gifting zone which he calls your genius. This is super helpful for team performance. Additionally, Steve Harvey in another podcast stated “your career is what you get paid for but you’re calling is what you were made for”.
Can we revisit or define our super power this week. How can you activate your calling in your career by using your super power to help others and accomplish your goals. Have a great week!
“For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.” -Ephesians 2:10
